We replaced the coil pack and module and it started right up and we drove it about 2 miles, we then shut the car off and then restarted it and it acted as if it was flooding itself out. We thought that it maybe old gas so we put a gas additive and fresh gas and we tried to come home and we got about 1/4 mile and it died and would not start. It backfired and sputtered so a friend said to remove the positive battery cable to reset the computer we did and it started right up and we drove it about a mile and it died again and would not start we repeated everything previoulsy and nothing. went back next morning and it started and we drove it about 10 miles and it died in the driveway. next day we decided to drive it thinking that it was bad gas and we got stranded again and had to be towed in as it would not start. please help us as we really need this car to be driveable. Thanks

Has the check engine light come on when this happens? Have you checked fuel pump pressure and the crank sensor?
