I have wonderful car - runs well - the wife thinks she is ugly - but she doesn't drive. The only problem I have is that she has no heat - could you please tell me what the problem might be. Otherwise everything works great. But she is a cold ride in the winter.

The first thing I need you to check is if both heater core hoses are getting hot. What to do is start the engine and allow it to warm up. Place the heater on high the entire time. When normal operating temp is reached, feel both the supply and return heater hoses to see if both are hot.

If both heater hoses are hot, then you have good circulation through the heater core. That leaves what is called a blend door. Its purpose is to determine if you get heat or AC in the passanger compartment. IF it is stuck or damaged and stuck in the AC position, you will not get heat. What you need to do is check to see if it is operating when you change temperature settings. It is located near the heater core.
