my brake light work when i am hitting the pedal, but when i just hit the switch for the lights, the brake lights arent coming on. u know wut the problem is?

Do you have a problem with the high mounted brake light ? If not get the turn/hazard switch assy checked and tested the lower brake lites circuit goes thru it-also recheck the brake switch.
