1992 Oldsmobile 88 ignition module

after up to normal temp., you turn eng. off,It
will not restart until module has cooled about
30 minutes.(no fire) I have changed modules,
module plug, coil pack,etc.whats causing the
module to heat up???????(I've tried 2 used
modules and 2 new ones.same result.)
