Oil seal leak

It is a little hard to make that out. Can you get a little further back so we can get a better prospective? It is just hard to orient where that is. Thanks

Based on where that is, it is the valve cover/cylinder head cover. The only think that gives me pause is I have never seen one push out like that. However, there is nothing else on that side of the engine that would do this so I would remove the cover and replace this gasket. Plus once you remove it you will be able to see if anything appears to have caused it.

When I search valve cover gaskets they do not include the round seals. They only appear in a complete gasket set.

I have not done this on this specific vehicle but have on other Kia's. You are going to need the gaskets circled. If you can't find a kit with just these, then having the head gaskets and other seals is not a bad thing if you plan on keeping this vehicle and work on it yourself. Just keep them in a flat dry place and they will be good for whenever you need them.

Okay. That is a pretty fitting name as it describes them pretty accurately. You have to remove the actual valve cover to access the plug portion. It basically seals the ends of the camshaft to the valve cover and cylinder head. The ones on the other end should have holes in the middle and not be a solid "plug" because that is where the sprocket attaches to the camshaft.
