Hi,

When you open the hood, where the engine and transmission meet, you will see the starter motor. The oil pressure sensor is located right above the starter motor.

Be careful when working near the starter motor because it has power at all times direct from the battery. Avoid shorting the terminals at the starter.

All you have to do is disconnect the sensor and it screws out of the engine block. I will tell you that some of these require a special deep socket. Before leaving the parts store, check the new sensor to determine if you can use a traditional deep socket or if it requires an oil sensor socket.

I attached a pic showing the sensor. Let me know if you find it or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

Thanks so much for responding. Is the starter on the left or right when I open the hood. I want to say I see the starter on the left.

Hi,

It will be on the right side when you open the hood. If you look at the pic I attached above, there is an arrow in it. That is to help position yourself. It points to the front of the vehicle.

Let me know if I can help and how you make out.

Take care,

Joe

Hi Nicole,

I copied a portion of your video and circled the approximate area you should find it. Keep in mind that it is near where the engine and transmission mount are together and above the starter motor.

In the pic, I simply circled an area to get you close. It may be back further on the engine, and it could be covered. If you locate the starter motor, you should see it.

Let me know.
