Oil pressure

When I turn on the AC and drive down the highway for about forty minutes. When I get into the town and drive normal stop and go traffic with the AC still on my oil pressure starts to go way down and back up until I turn the AC off. I changed the oil already.

Good morning.

The first thing I would do is to check the actual oil pressure with a manual gauge. You need to see if it is the switch sending wrong information or if the engine has an internal issue.

You can rent a tester at the parts store to perform this procedure. Once you do this, get back to me with the results.
