Does the engine have to be dropped to remove to replace the upper and lower oil pan on this 2017 Cadillac XT5

I attached the process for an AWD. It does not say to remove the engine to get it out. Let me know if you have any questions or if you have a FWD. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
