Oil on my air filter

Change my oil today check my air filter almost like a blow by issue. I noticed a 2 inch oil a strip down the middle of my air filter. I'm wondering if it's my PCV valve, but I only have 55,000 miles on the truck.

Yes, I would check the PCV and make sure it is working. If the valve is clogged, it will put oil in the intake system.

If the PCV is good, do a compression test. You need to do a wet and dry. what that means is you put a little oil in each cylinder after you do the dry test and do it again. Look for an increase of over 15 pounds, If there is then the rings may be the issue.
