how do I turn the oil light off after I change the oil?

It is not too difficult. Here are the steps:

Turn the ignition on. Fully depress the accelerator to the floor 3 times in 5 seconds. The light should flash then turn off. If it doesn't you need to repeat this.

turn the key to the run position,(don't start the vehicle)pump the gas pedal 3x within 5 seconds and the oil light will flash when it goes out turn the key off and it should be reset. also this is in your owners manual.
