Oil consumption problem?

Hi, I am using a quart of oil every 100 miles. I am now doing seafoam treatments. Can you let me know if there are any recall notices open on this vehicle?

Hi Dave,

I checked and nothing is indicated for the oil consumption under open recalls. However, there is an open recall related to the brake lights. I attached the information below. (pic 1)

As far as the oil related issues are concerned, yes, there was a recall. However, it expired 10/31/16. Until that date, the problem would have been covered regardless of mileage. See pic 2.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions or if I can help in any way. Also, contact a dealer to see if they will still take care of the brake light issue. Based on your VIN, it is still open.
