Oil change

Manual says to follow alerts for oil changes. I hardly drive my car, oil life is at 70% but its been a year since last oil change and it is now a dark color. Do i change or wait for it to hit 15% as manual suggests?

Yes if the color is dark it is good to change engine oil and filter every year even oil life is 70%. oil can be mixed with humidity over time that oil looses its additives. check fig 1.

fig 2, 3 is for oil quantity and the oil type, fig 4 for oil level check, fig 5 for procedure oil change.
