My partner was driving it home after a long journey (eight to nine hours) and after about four hours of the oil light being on he stopped to top it up. unfortunately, and not smart did not check and after he started up again about five minutes in, the car started to emit white smoke, loss of power and when stopped to check engine, oil was bubbling out over the top.
I was not with him unfortunately so I cannot tell you any more information other than he had to leave the car and a friend collect him (as was about 4:00 am this morning). the car has not been started since and as I said been left where he stopped it which is about an hour from our home.
Does this sound like the head gasket or too much oil?
