Replaced BCM now mileage is in kilometers

Hi,

First, simply hold down the trip reset for about 5 seconds to see if that changes it. If it doesn't, the new BCM needs programmed. The body control module (BCM) must be programmed with the proper RPO (regular production options) configurations. The BCM stores the information regarding the vehicle options and if the BCM is not properly configured with the correct RPO codes, the BCM will not control all of the features properly.

Let me know if you have the proper scan tool to reprogram.

Where did you get the BCM from? The BCM is responsible sending the miles to the cluster to display the miles.

If you got this from a parts supplier then they may send you a different one. If not you may have to go to a dealer and see if they can swap it for you. I am not sure the dealer can on this vehicle but that is pretty typical for these when a customer moves from a Kilometer county to a miles county.

Worse case scenario you are going to have to get another BCM that is in miles.
