OBD 2 codes P0171 and P0172 at the same time

Hi,
For both to happen at the same time is odd. It almost leads me to believe there could be a problem with the ECM.
Do you have a scan tool that can read live data? If so, can you check what the short term fuel trims are and let me know what you find? Also, can you explain how the engine is running at this time? Are there any raw fuel smells or odd smells from the exhaust?
