Stalling and making noise?

Hello,
My car had the light on, and I was told it was an emissions problem. Recently I changed the oil and after driving about the first 100 miles the change oil light came on. I checked the oil, but it still looked fine, so I ignored the light. Now the car started kind of stalling and making a noise. What could be the issue?

Hi,

The oil service light won't affect drivability. I attached the directions for resetting it below. Just make sure the oil is clean and full.

Next, if the check engine light is staying on, I need to know what codes are stored to point you in the right direction. Certainly, it could be an emission-related issue, but there are several things' emissions-related.

If there is an AutoZone or other nationally recognized parts store near you, have them scan it for codes and let me know what they find. Most do this free of charge.
