When first started there is a continuous loud squealing noise

This could be a problem with your vehicle's serpentine belt. When your serpentine belt gets worn out or glazed it will make a squeaking or a chirping noise. You can try to spray some belt dressing on it, which is available form any auto parts store, or replace the belt. Here are a couple of link below for you to go to:
