Noise on start up for two seconds?

If I replaced the VTC, would it need to reprogram or just change and go? Thanks!

I don't think the VTC needs to be programmed, do you think this is where the noise is coming from? Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so I can hear the noise? That way I can tell for sure what's going on. You can upload it here with your response.
I would try changing the engine oil and filter first.

This is the sound, but it sounds a lot louder in the car. I can send another video from inside the car tonight if you want me to. The noise sounds like after an oil change the lifter noise till the oil pressure builds up.

Thanks for the video. can you face the engine in the front to see if the noise is more prominent? It sounds like it could be the timing chain tensioner or guide has broken. In any case the front of the engine will need to be disabled for inspection. Here is how to replace the timing chain guides and tensioner. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
