No turn signals but both light up solid when i press the brake pedal

They changed the steering column, but my turn single-layer will not work at all until you push the brake pedal then they stay on solid.

if you mean your turn signal will not work check bulbs and then take back and tell the people that installed it as they probably have wires hooked up wrong.
