The engine cranks but does not start and the check engine light is on with code 2A9A?

Hi,

The code is specific to the inlet camshaft position sensor. Either we have a faulty sensor, or there is a short to ground, power, or an open circuit.

With that in mind, inspect the wiring and connector at the sensor. If everything appears good, chances are the sensor is faulty,
