No start No clicking at starter?

So, when you say you have power to the starter do you mean the trigger wire when the key is in the crank position? This is the golden test. if you are getting power to the trigger wire you have a defective starter or the engine is locked up. Please go over this video to see what to do to test for this issue.

Also, try to start the truck in neutral to help bypass the transmission range sensor. Also, check the fusible link J in the fuse panel on the right side of the engine compartment. Here is the starter wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. There is a starter relay that can be swapped out as well. Please upload a short video in your response of the problem, so I can see what's going on. Check out the images (below). Ken

No power coming out trigger wire to starter

Ok here’s what I did I took out starter relay and jumped the positive into the relay slot and I got the truck to start . I put the relay back In and would start . So jumped the relay again and reversed out drive way come to find out it won’t go into park drive just stays on reverse all gears . So could this be the that switch on the transmission I forgot what it’s called but it has something to do with putting the gears into place . I’m assuming now it’s bad and the truck was stuck in reverse that’s why I wasn’t getting any crank and start do you agree ? If so do you have a video of showing location and how to replace that part

Correction when I put relay back in it wouldn’t start again

Yep, it sounds like the park/neutral position switch is bad inside the transmission. This is not like the older truck with it on the side of the transmission, that would be too easy. Instead it is incorporated into the valve body and TCM, here is what it looks like. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
