No start and codes p0303, p0128 and p0113

Hi,

I need you to try something. See if it starts for a couple of seconds and then stalls if you use starting fluid. If it does, then we know it's a fuel-related issue.

Now, if it does start with starting fluid and then stall, either the fuel pressure is too low or there is no power to the fuel injectors. So, if that happens, first check for an injector pulse. Here is a link that shows how it's done:

If that is good, then confirm fuel pressure is within spec. Here is a link that shows in general how to test fuel pressure:

If you look at the pic below, I attached the manufacturer's fuel pressure specifications.

It does not start when you spray it with starting fluid.

By chance, did you check for spark at the plugs? The codes are related to a misfire, intake air temperature sensor, and thermostat. I need you to check for ignition spark and let me know if you have it.

I suspect there is no spark because the IAT and thermostat shouldn't totally shut it down. Also, you indicated above it is getting fire and fuel. By fire, are you referring to spark? If so, it should have started with starting fluid.

Hi,

We may have a faulty ignition coil. Do me a favor, take a look below at the wiring schematics. I attached the entire schematic for the powertrain management. I highlighted wires I need to be checked. There is a purple wire with a white tracer which should have power. It powers the power transistor and the coil. See if there is voltage there. Let me know what you find.

If we have good voltage, then there is a chance the distributor needs to be replaced. It isn't serviceable other than the cap.

Afterthought... Make sure the rotor is in good condition and not corroded.
