no spark from coil?

86 cj7 with 96 eng.no carb,has injectors: rep coil,,elect system coil,battery charged..no spark out of the coil..repled the buzzer as well..veh has no points...what could be wrong

When you say with 96 engine can I ask which engine and control system are you using? Can you upload an image? Did you check the fuses?

Thank you for your response. The fuses have been checked, they are okay. The jeep engine is a 97 jeep wrangler..

Does it have the 97 jeep wrangler ECM and wiring harness?

I have seen the crankshaft angle sensor cause this problem, but we should check for 12 volts at the coil.

Please use this guide to check the positive side of the coil with the key on, (dark green/black wire).

Here is the location of the crankshaft sensor if you want to try swapping it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens. I would check the wiring to the sensor as well.
