no reverse no second gear

looking for help on a transmission diagnosis. throwing code p0750 shift solenoid a malfunction.
Do you have a repair manual or diagram of the solenoid positions inside the transmission? i need to know which one to replace. thanks

i have a code reader ,but no tool as you describe. The code says P0750 shift solenoid a malfunction...which one is A? i have no second gear , and no reverse.

Okay, you need the scan tool to work the solenoid to see if it functions.

it could also be a stuck valve in the valve body. have you had the transmission fluid and filter changed?

Shift solenoid S1.

a scan tool that will rad this info runs about $2,000.00. it is cheaper to have a shop check it for you for around $100.00.

I can try. sometimes the numbers we get are not the newest numbers. it is best to call the dealer for the exact part number. then you can search for pricing.
