No power to the fuel pump

Hi,

The C/open relay is in the underhood fuse/relay box. See pic 1 below.

Additionally, I have attached pics of the entire powertrain management schematics (starting with pic 2). I had to cut the pics in half, but I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next.

So as it turns it the ECM had a lot of water in it. I think the previous owner had washed the engine bay after removing the motor (blown head gasket). I replaced ECM and now have fuel flowing. Now I'm finding out there is no spark. I think it might be a ground issue. Any info you might be able to send my way would be much appreciated.

If you have a live data scan tool, can you check to see if there is an RPM signal when cranking the engine? If there is no signal, we need to check the crankshaft position sensor. Here are a couple of links you may find of interest. The first explains how it works, the second discusses common symptoms, and the last shows in general how one is replaced.

If there is no RPM signal, this is my first suspect. If you look at the attachments below, they provide the directions/pictures for testing specific to this vehicle.

If it is bad, the last three pics are the directions for replacement specific to your vehicle.

Check this and let me know what you find.
