We are restoring the car listed above. We renewed the light switch but the headlights still don't work. Seems there is no power going to the light switch. If we short circuit power to the light switch the light work and the interior lights and power locks as well. The fuses are okay. So far we are not able to find were the power failure is caused by.

So there is a circuit breaker that run the headlights:

Located Behind Instrument Panel, Near LH Side Of Glove Box.

If you cant find it I would run a 40 amp fuse to the main power lug of the switch, (red) the orange wire is the power input for the running lights. This should fix it. Please let us know what happens.

Hy Ken, Sorry to bother you again but are problem appears to be not completely solved. When the headlights are turned on for several minutes they start pulsating. You can hear it click in the light switch. Apparently there is to much current and it gets to hot. Wat can we do now ??

Heat will be causes by a bad connection in the switch or at the headlights themselves. I would check the headlight electrical connectors for corrosion/melted. if they look okay I would replace the headlight switch. Please let me know how it goes.
