No power, just clicks when attempting to start it?

When I try to start the car when I get to the crank, nothing happens. So, I thought that I needed an alternator, so I changed it and it did not help. Still no crank no start.

No start but a click is usually battery related, either it has low voltage, or the connections are corroded, or both. As you can see from the diagram there are only a few grounds that connect most systems.
