After around twenty miles of driving, the truck will go into underwater mode is what I want to call it because it sounds like the exhaust is plugged. I do not have catalytic converters. Also, like T converter may be locking all the way in down shifting? Forget it it downshifts shoots to three grand and creeps to hopefully the speed limit. Replace pump twice. Recently, fuel filter, MAF, MAP, water pump, fuel pressure regulator. Also radiator and thermostat.

Hello, I am Danny.
Just curious before we get started. Is the check engine light on? Does it seem like a sluggish transmission issue?

Transmission was just built not 10,000 miles ago and yes it is for post catalytic converter o2 sensors, but they are switching on scanner somehow and nothing is plugged it. It just threw a bank 2 sensor 1 yesterday, but problem was there before it threw this for also my spark advance is like 40°.

Hello, Danny here.
Can you give me a little more symptom information? You mentioned in your post about the torque converter locking up but usually if the torque converter stays locked up in overdrive when slowing/coming to a stop it has a tendency to stall.

Do not think it is transmission related. My ECT numbers are way off, but still is my IAT reading is way out of normal. It has new MAF on it fuel TR numbers are off the wall to ,17° spark advance at idle.

Hello again.

Do you have access to a scanner/scan tool that can stream live data while driving vehicle when this happens?

Yes, I can access live data. My coolant temperature on scanner says 35° and it is not the sensor, I got a new one and still reads the same my IAT are like 40° and it is a new MAF , and my timing at idle is jumping anywhere from 17° all the way up to 45°. I am so turned around on this one it has got to be the computer from what my brain is telling me, but I do not want to throw parts and it. Also, it was an intermittent problem now I believe it is all the time.

Hello again.

Yes, sounds like you might have a PCM glitch. Let me do some more research and get back to you.

Timing is jumping up to 7 degrees with just one 569-579 rpm range also.

Hello again.
Have you tried cleaning the connections at the PCM? I once had a Silverado having wacky electrical problems including no communication with data link/diagnostic port. I disconnected PCM and noticed corrosion on one of the two harness connectors and the PCM's pins as well. After using electrical contact cleaner and a wire brush. It fixed all the electrical craziness and restored all systems. Just a thought.

Thanks man I'm going to grab two upstream o2 sensors today and put in. I think my IAT are way too far off. How can I get them down? They are like 70°c. That is way too high and it is a brand new MAF.

Hello again.

Have you swapped the sensors? Notice any change?

I put an o2 sensor in on bank 2 sensor 1 and that seemed to have really helped. However, my ltft is up in the high teens positive like 15 and 16 on both banks. If I turn AC off in truck it drops to like positive 8 and it says fuel system 1 and 2 clsd fault when in closed loop. Has new pump, new pressure regulator, and new fuel filter. Could the injector be sticking open? I ran marvel mystery oil through the gas tank and 44 k from BG through before new pump was installed and maybe a little more than I should have. Not sure. Any ideas?
