Hi,

We need to start with if there are codes. This sounds like a MAF sensor or other engine sensor issue but again we need to see if there are codes that can point us in the right direction.

We can't rule out a bad ECM. If you have an issue now that you didn't have before and all you changed was the ECM then that has to be suspect. However, you could have another issue and getting codes is the first step for that.

Thank you for your reply.I put a code reader on the car and code P0507 comes up.I was able to last week take it to a local auto parts store and they said code P0505 came up but not for me.where before if I started and stopped the engine it would eventually come out of limp mode but now it stays with very little acceleration.

Okay. The P0505 from the parts store I think is a scan tool issue. The P0507 is a valid code. I attached the test which depending on what you find we can dig further. However, if you look at step 3, have you done all the learn procedures after replacing the ECM? If not, that is going to cause some issues.
