Recently bought a 2013 gmc acadia. Drove for 2 weeks with no issues. Then, the battery gadget went all the way up for a few minutes then returned to middle of gauge like normal. The next day, the gadget was in the middle then started going low. Then the radio shut off and had no power. My buddy came and got it started with his jump box. Had to pull over a few times because it wouldn't stay on. As soon as I pulled up to my house, it died again. I put the car in park but couldn't get the key out. I replaced the alternator thinking this was the problem. A week later, still no power. Had my battery checked and auto zone says it's good. I have checked fuses. I found an inline fuse coming from the alternator. It says 200 on it but can't see how to change it out. Please help. Idk what to do

Hello, while the car is running you will need to put a multimeter on the battery terminals and check that the charging voltage is making it to the battery. I will assume that it is not, but we need to be sure. Next, if you can reach the alternator, you can put the positive lead on the nut holding the hot wire on the alternator and the ground lead on the case, engine block, or chassis to see if the alternator is actually charging. I cannot tell you how many times I've gotten a bad alternator out of the box nowadays. You can also pierce that 200A wire on both sides of the fuse, turn the multimeter to continuity and check for resistance. If it is 0 then the fuse is good.

I am still having the same issue. No power to the car at all. Key is still stuck in the ignition. I have had the battery checked, it is good. I have checked the fuses. They are good. I'm not sure what else to check. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I would start with checking if the fuses have power. Check the fuse panel under the hood and inside the car to see if power is present, (key on). Here is a guide to help you and the fuses I would check first.

Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes
