No electrical power

My friend has the vehicle listed above and it has no power whatsoever. so cannot even start it and when you put key in says take key out and the put back in and says cannot read something. please someone help.

Hi,

Does anything electrical work? For example, does the horn or brake lights work? Do the headlamps work?

Take a look in the underhood fuse box. Check the heavier gauge fuses to see if any are bad. See pic below.

Also, are you certain the battery is fully charged? Have you checked the battery terminal connections to make sure they are clean and tight?

Also, if there is a spare key, try it. It could be something with the immobilizer shutting things down because it doesn't recognize the key for some reason.
