No neutral or reverse

The gear shifter is real stiff anything after park os all drive. neutral drives forward reverse moves forward. not sure what is going on.

Thank you Rich. my car is an hour away from me at my parents. that's what i was hoping for it to be. i am going to pick it up in 2 days so that will defiantly be the first thing i check.

Adjusting the cable didn't help. so i put the car in reverse right at the transmission and still moved forward. is it possible to have a bad switch?

Okay, did some research on this and I am afraid I have bad news. It seems the forward clutches in these seize when the fluid gets low leaving you with nothing but drive.

The only fix is to rebuild the transmission.
