After parking the vehicle and went to leave again and nothing, no forward no reverse?

Drove vehicle approximately 40miles no problem, after being home about half hour went to leave again and nothing, no forward no reverse, shifts through gears (PRND21) no problem but no movement at all, no check engine/dash light, no codes.
