No ignition or dashboard lights

Tried to start car and nothing. Ignition was acting funny so replaced the switch and nothing and the lights on the dashboard do not light up. What is wrong?

Hello,

It sounds like you have the detent off between the lock tumbler and the switch did the new switch go together okay?

Also, check the electrical connector to make sure it is plugged in all the way. Next I would check all fuses to see if something got popped when you where doing the work.
