There is no heat going to the heater and defrost?

The first thing I would do is wait until the engine is cold and then check the coolant level, here is a guide and video of what you should do as a preliminary inspection:

If everything looks okay here is the temperature blend door actuator which sounds like it is not working. There is one for each side.
