No heat

I have changed thermostat, the housing, the radiator, the water pump, and the sensors. I am not getting no heat from the vents. only when I rev the engine up to 2,500 rpm's if I let it idle it's only cold air and then the gauge starts to show car is running ho. then it tells me A/C off due to high temperature, but if I rev it up again gauge goes down and heat comes out. Has any one came across this problem if so what fixed it? Thank you in advance.

Good afternoon,

It sounds like you may need a thermostat. It should never heat up and tell you the AC is disabled from running hot.

Make sure the coolant level is correct.

This does not sound like an actuator issue but a cooling system issue. I would start with a thermostat.

I have replaced the thermostat, the radiator, the water pump, the housing for the thermostat, and the reservoir and cap and I still have the same issues. I have honestly changed the thermostat three times thought I might have go a bad one. The coolant level is where it should be after I run the car the level drops all the way but if I take pressure off by unscrewing the cap on the reservoir the coolant comes back in to the reservoir back up to the normal. not sure why though.

Okay, did this overheat several times? It sounds like there is air in the system that possibly could come from a leaking head gasket.

It has only done it maybe three times and each time it did I changed another part .

Okay, again, how many times did it overheat?

You still need that test done to make sure the head gasket is good.

It said that three different times only if the car idles too long.

Okay, the cooling fan may not be working correctly. At idle it could heat up but the job of the cooling fan is to pull cool air through the radiator and cool down the engine.

Can you see if the cooling fan comes on when it gets hot?

The cooling fan not working could be the root cause of the failure if the head gasket is leaking.
