Unfortunately, you need to remove the instrument panel to get to this one. That is not a fun job. I have done this and I don't remember any short cuts. I am sorry I don't have better info for you.

Let me know if you want the process for the instrument panel and I can send that over. Thanks

I found a short cut in where i don't replace the actuator but simply move the door to the other side.Takes about 5 to 10 minutes.Pull trim piece off between air bag and glove box.Drop glove box and take 2 screws off bottom of air bag assembly. There will be 3 more screws where trim piece was taken off.pull out air bag and pull air duct out of way.Actuator is in left corner. With pliers turn piece on top actuator clockwise for air and counter clock for heat.Of course in 5 months or so you will need to turn it the other way,but it is real simple.

So you are saying you moved the blend door to heat for the winter so that it blows hot air then you are going to move the door back so it blows cold? Clearly you will only have full hot or full cold rather than a mixture of the air, but this works. Good thinking. Thanks for the update.

Unfortunately we need to start a new post for that. We need to keep it one post per topic because others will not find a window issue under this post.

It you are able to get this posted I will look that up as I am sure we can find it. Thanks

Also, if you can get the detail on what they shops are finding for $90.00 because that does not sound like a relay. That sounds like a PDC or control module with built in fuses.
