I disconnected both lines from hpfp and turned the ignition on, but nothing came out. Is there a fuse or relay for the pump?

Hi,

There is a fuel pump relay and fuse that need to be checked first. Both are located in the fuse box behind the right kick panel. See pic below

First, make sure the fuse is good. In addition, confirm there is power to and from the fuse when checking.

Here is a link you may find helpful:

The relay is located in the same fuse box.

Here is a link that explains how to test a relay:

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe

I only found one fuse, #46 for the fuel, 20 amp, good on both sides. Checked rear fuel tank pump on rear passenger side under the seat. No power, only 2 grounds with ignition on, and a 3rd that gives me beeps and .2 oe .3 without stating what it is, and sometimes i touch it and it gives me nothing, maybe this is the signal wire, the 4th gives neither power nor ground. Could not see a relay, diagram in back of cover shows pictures of fuses ok ly, there is only one relay on bottom part of fuse box. Can you find out where the relay is? Has to be a relay or a fuse box issue since am not letting power. No fuel comes out of front, no sound from pump, switched it with my friend's pump and same results.

I found a video online which says that fuse is for fuel level sensor mot the pump. And that the relay in the box may, just maybe for the fuel pump but he did not have info on it.

Yes, these are built in and soldiered. I'll remove it and send it for repair.

Hi,

I am starting to see that a lot anymore. Everything is integral and non-repairable. If you have a chance, let me know if that takes care of the issue.

Take care,

Joe
