No fuel coming out if the injectors

Hi,

Have you checked fuel pressure to confirm it is within the manufacturer's specs? If you didn't, I would recommend doing that. Here is a link that explains how:

If pressure is good, then the next thing to do is check for diagnostic trouble codes. This vehicle has an OBD1 system that doesn't require a scanner to retrieve codes. All you need is a short jumper wire or even a paper clip. Here is a link explaining how it's done:

Keep in mind, the fuel injectors are solenoid activated and controlled by the engine control module. You replaced the ECM, so if we have pressure, then either the new ECM isn't good, or we have a power issue between the ECM and the injectors.

Let me know if there are stored codes and what they are. Also, confirm fuel pressure is within spec.

It didn't give me any codes, just the shift light came on. Fuel pressure is right on where it should be.

If you have fuel pressure and the ECM is new and doing the same thing, we likely have a wiring issue. Take a look at the diagnostics below for the injector circuit and let me know if you are comfortable performing the tests.

Before starting the diagnosis below, take a look at pic 3. Check the fuse indicated as powering the fuel pump relay (ECM1 fuse) and confirm it's good. Additionally, if the fuse is good, confirm there is power to and from it. Here is a link you may find helpful.

If the fuse is good and has power, go to any of the injectors and locate a pink wire at the connection. Each injector will have one that supplies 12v at all times to each injector when the key is on. A ground path is provided via the ECM. See if there is power to the pink wires.
