No first or second gear?

It started off being hard to get into first and then locked into second. Turned off and the gear stick will go into all forward gears but there is nothing there in first or second and will not go into reverse.

This happens when the clutch disc is starting to fall apart and not allowing the transmission to fully disengage from the engine, it must be 100% free or the transmission will not go into gear when the engine is running.

Sorry, I didn't make it clear. I re-started the van and would go into all forward gears but with first and second there was nothing there when lifting the clutch. Wouldn't go into reverse at all.

And clutch is about 3 months old.

If you shut the engine off, will it go into all gears, clutch pedal down? If so, the clutch is not disengaging completely, you may have a bent clutch disc when installing the transmission. Can you upload a short video of the problem?
