No crank no start

Hello, sorry to hear you're having so much trouble there. When this no crank issue happens, does the check engine light come on when you turn the key to the first (run) position and then go out? And do you have battery voltage when this is happening as well, or is the battery always dead?

Here's a quick check, this is the most common problem with these systems. It has to do with the security system and most of the time it takes 10-15 minutes for the security system to reset. Check this little set of wires. They become loose or corroded in some cases. But this is the easiest thing to check first. These 3 or 4 wires together are just above the ignition switch. This picture is from a 2001, but they seem to have a lot of trucks ending up with this same problem.

No check engine light is on.

Does it come on when you first put the key into the run position, before you start it and then the light goes out? And did you check the connection just above the ignition key tumbler? The check engine light should come on for about 2 seconds when you're first starting the truck. I'm asking because if it's not, there may be a communication problem on one of the networks causing an intermittent issue like this. Also you need to check at the battery itself when this is happening for a voltage reading. Do you own a multimeter to check the voltage when this is happening?

So I did a total double check on the connection to the starter, alternator,and battery. While checking the battery I found out the ground wire was bad so I replaced it and now the truck run fine. Thanks guys for the help it was greatly appreciated thanks again.
