No brakes have not tried bleeding lines?

I am reading this post because I am having the same issue with the same truck. 2000 F150. Four wheel disc. I am guessing four wheel ABS. One on each front wheel, one on rear end. New brake pads and new rotors. Calipers functioning fine. I bought the truck for $200.00. Needed a new fuel pump. Upon test drive I blew a brake line that runs inside left frame rail near back of fuel tank. I was only quarter of a mile from house. Dropped tank and repaired brake line. Today is the tenth time I have bled the system. I did replace master cylinder because of same pedal issues. Bench bled and bled on truck. Have not tried bleeding lines. Gong to try that tonight after it cools down a bit.

I assume it has to do with the bleeding but you never confirmed that, plus you mention another post but I have no idea what post. I would suspect there is air in the lines. These guides can help you fix it.

I purchased the non running truck for $200.00, 2000 F150 XLT 5.4 4x4. Needed a fuel pump. fixed it and on test drive I blew a brake line on drivers side frame near rear of fuel tank. repaired the line and began bleeding sequence. RR,LR,RF,LF. after several attempts with unsatisfactory pedal, I replaced master cylinder. Bench bled, and reinstalled. Ten or so more attempts, still no pedal. I had also replaced all four rotors and brake pads, just because truck was sitting for two years. I have inspected all brake lines, rubber and metal, the system is not leaking as the fluid never drops in master cylinder. I had heard of using a scan tool to automatically bleed ABS because of air trapped in pump. My scan tool is to cheap. I have read tons of posts with no luck from anyone. I am getting scared because I really love the truck.

The ABS pump will need to be bleed a scanner can open the valves while you bleed it that will fix the problem.

I opened the valves with my scanner all fixed thanks for the guides they helps me.
