No air conditioning blows hot air

When I start car in seconds clicking sounds from rt dash. I tried the 3 button test at 75 degrees. Did not get read out.Just said Auto fan 75 degrees.
Is it the blend door actuator?

Good morning,

I attached the procedure for the blend door replacement. It is under the dash and not bad to change.

You can get it at any parts store.

The noise is common when the gears fail inside.. There is a constant ticking and the blend door will not move.

REMOVAL
1. Remove left and right underpanel silencer/ ducts. Refer to Body and Frame/ Interior Trim/ Console/ Service and Repair. See: Console > Service and Repair
2. Remove two screws from actuator which are accessible from the right side of center stack.
3. Remove one screw from actuator on left side.

4. Pull actuator straight down from shaft and disconnect electrical connection. Upon removal, note the shaft position of the actuator, because the shaft on this motor is keyed. When installing new actuator, its shaft must be positioned in the same location.

INSTALLATION
For installation, reverse the above procedures.

Do you mean I have to remove the whole lower console part of dash to get to the actuator?
It's a project car just go to it tonight.
