noise from the rear I think I need brakes?

Replacing rear brakes isn't too hard to do. You can expect to get approximately 25,000 miles from a set of pads, but that is based on the driver.

REAR
DISC PAD (REAR) REPLACEMENT
1. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal.
3. After installation, pump the brake pedal a few times and inspect the following:
- Parking brake lever stroke
- Brake drag
