No AC

AC Compressor housing at 220 degrees on a 75 degree day. Both high and low lines very hot, but cool at pressure switch. I have 2 gauges, one says 25 psi and the other says 40 psi. I get no cold at all. Compressor is running constantly.

Those pressures make no sense. Diagnosing AC issues requires a lot of experience and observations. It's definitely not a DIY job. There are way too may things to go wrong and way too many things that have to be observed and analyzed. The very first step is a complete evacuation and recharge. It's the only way to know exactly how much refrigerant is in the system. The pressures don't mean anything until you have the exact correct charge.

The pressures that I gave you are only the low pressure side, the gauges just don't agree what it is. The 40 psi is a true reading. If the expandtion valve is stuck closed, or can the dryer plug-up and be the cause.

As I said, the pressures don't mean a thing until you have the exact weight charge and then just having the low only reading won't tell you anything.
