Labor cost for this job is 10.5 hours which does not include the transfer of accessories.

I have a 2007 Nissan Xterra with a bad motor, I have a friend that has a 2004 Nissan Xterra that has a motor I could use for free I realize it's not the right here or make of motor but could it be swapped out and made to work or is it too much of a nightmare to attempt?

as long as it will bolt in and your computer h ookups can fit it then it should be ok. if it is a different size motor then it may not work especially with the computers. we don't get engine size any longer since site has changed.

The stock motor is a 4.0 liter and the 04 has I believe a 3.3 liter motor .... I was hoping there might be a way to convert it ... wishful thinking I'm starting to figure out....
