Six cylinder four wheel drive automatic 41,000 miles

One of my windshield wiper does not work. the driver side wiper works but the passenger side does not work. We had a lot of ice and snow lately.

Does each wiper have a separate motor?

could it be a fuse?

Hi u863999,

Thank you for the donation.

The wipers uses a common motor and your problem should be a dislodged wiper link. You need to check if the link joints are worn.

Are you sure the year model is correct? I could only find Xterra for year 2000 onwards.

the windshield wipers do not work when its in an "on" position, but they do work when you use the wash function and the go for two or three turns. The car is with my kids in college so I am trying to get them an answer to fix the problem. Thanks.

Six cylinder four wheel drive automatic 139,000 miles

The drivers side windshield wipers do not work. Sometimes it want to move with the other wiper but does not move. You can move the windshield wiper yourself but will not move in sync with the other wiper. The passenger side wiper can not move manually.
