Last night 19/Jan/2010 my sunroof opened automatically & seems to keep opening even when I close. Any ideas on what could be wrong here.

Nissan switches across the fleet can be a little dodgy.
I suspect the contact inside the s/roof operating switch is stuck in the open position.
Two options, direct your hairdryer onto the switc, not too much heat never too hot to touch!! or to do any damage to the switch or surrounding panel as you only want to warm up the old internal grease. If no joy remove the switch and after warming it up a little for half a hour or so you'll be able to dismantle the switch to free up the small contact internally.

my sunroof has started to open on its own. I have pulled the wires off the switch to keep it closed, could it be the switch or is it likley to be a relay & if it is where is it located

Hi
Switch is culprit a common fault when temps go down button in switch sticks in open position. You maybe able to remove and free up or replace.
