Smog Test Failure

Click Smog Test Preparation. Second page of that gives great prep examples. Check air filter, spark plugs, and fuel pressure. Fuel filter may have become clogged and the fuel pump is working harder than it should. Fuel injectors may need to be cleaned. Check idle air control, mass air flow sensor, and O2 sensors.

If it's burning a lot of fuel it could be a very simple solution or a combination of a few things. Remember the amount of fuel it uses depends on a few different variables (spark and oxygen).
