1997 Nissan Pickup, 137,000: I recently plugged a spotlight charger into the cigarette lighter while the AC was on, causing the AC indicator light on the switch to go out as well as the air to not cool anymore when the switch is in the ON position. I replaced the fuse, but with no change. I wonder if the switch itself shorted out, and if so how to replace it? Or is it possible that the compressor burned out? The compressor doesn't kick on at all now.
